Q: What are the pellets made of?
A: Diatomaceous Earth, which is the fossilized remains of diatoms, a type of hard-shelled algae – also a natural insecticide.

Q: What does priming mean?
A: Priming means to begin the germination process. The seed is pre-germinated, then coated in a layer of diatomaceous earth. This will halt the germination process until the seed is planted. The germination rate is not harmed by the priming process.

Q: Does priming damage the seed?
A: Seed is not damaged, but only has a one year shelf-life.

Q: Why does coating the seed reduce thinning?
A: The coating on the seed makes small seed larger and easier to handle.

Q: What is in the coloring?
